We are currently seeking a passionate, nurturing, and adaptable KS1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hull on a full-time supply basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy the flexibility of supply work while benefiting from the stability of a longer-term placement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS1.
  • Confidently follow pre-planned work and adapt activities to meet the learning needs of all pupils.
  • Establish positive classroom routines and manage behaviour effectively to promote a focused learning environment.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school day.
  • Assess learning informally and provide feedback to support progress.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to ensure consistent classroom support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Teaching experience across Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2).
  • A nurturing, creative, and child-centred teaching style combined with clear behavioural expectations.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the confidence to engage young learners.
  • A strong commitment to inclusion and supporting pupils of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
