Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and parents
- Encourage confidence, independence, and social development in every learner
- Adapt teaching strategies to support varying abilities and learning styles
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working within SEN or inclusive education settings (desirable but not essential)
- Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable teaching approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
