Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow, who are seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) unit full-time from September 2026. The ARP supports children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and communication difficulties, offering a nurturing and structured environment within a mainstream setting.
Role Highlights:
- Supporting pupils with SEND (primarily ASD) in small group or 1:1 settings
- Working alongside teachers and therapists to deliver individualised learning plans
- Assisting with daily routines, sensory regulation, and behaviour support
- Helping to build confidence, independence, and communication skills
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with children with additional needs, particularly autism
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a consistent approach to support
- Can work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service)
