We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive 1-form entry primary school in Horwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to inspire and support pupils in Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will become part of a close-knit staff team, delivering engaging lessons that help children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The role will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of securing a permanent contract with the school from September 2027.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
- Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Be passionate about helping every child reach their full potential
