Are you an experienced KS1 teacher looking for a rewarding role in a small, friendly and nurturing school?
We are looking for a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Horwich on a maternity cover basis, starting from October half term through to the end of the academic year.
- Year 1 teaching role
- Maternity cover from October half term to the end of the academic year
- Experience teaching in KS1 is essential
- ECTs and fully qualified teachers are welcome to apply
- Supportive, friendly and nurturing school environment
- Small school with a strong sense of community
- High expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil progress
- ECT: from £120 per day
- Fully Qualified Teacher: from £140 per day
- AWR will be addressed after 12 working weeks, where applicable
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced and confident teaching KS1, particularly Year 1
- Passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences
- Able to set and maintain high expectations
- Warm, nurturing and committed to building positive relationships with pupils
- Adaptable, enthusiastic and keen to become part of a small school community
