Full-Time Teaching Assistant – EYFS/SEN Support

Start day: June 2026

We are looking for a dedicated and committed Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within an Early Years setting.

Hours and Pay

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm (30‑minute lunch break)
  • Pay: £14.25 per hour

The role

You will be supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and helping them access learning and daily activities within the school environment. This is a rewarding role requiring patience, consistency, and a caring approach.

Requirements

  • Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
  • Previous experience working within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is essential
  • Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, is required
  • Comfortable carrying out personal care as part of the role
  • Patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships
  • Reliable and committed, with a willingness to provide consistent support for the child
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
