Positions Available:
- Primary SEMH Learning Support Assistants
- Secondary SEMH Learning Support Assistants
- Specialist English Support LSAs
- Specialist Maths Support LSAs
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Encouraging engagement within lessons
- Building positive and trusting relationships
- Supporting behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
- Helping students develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Working closely with teachers and wider support staff
Qualifications & Skills:
- Be calm, patient and emotionally resilient
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to build rapport with young people
- Have experience within education, SEMH, SEN, care, youth work or behavioural support (desirable)
- Be passionate about supporting vulnerable students
- Be able to work full-time
- Be aged 21+
- Be a driver with access to a vehicle - essential
- Have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (or be willing to undertake one)
