Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Cambridgeshire to recruit qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for full-time and part-time positions starting in September. We are supporting schools with long-term and permanent opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. These roles are ideal for experienced HLTAs looking to secure a position ahead of the new academic year, whether you are seeking consistency, progression, or a new school environment. A full UK driving licence is desirable due to the range of school locations, but not essential.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and lead whole-class teaching when required
- Support the class teacher with planning and classroom delivery
- Lead small group interventions and targeted support sessions
- Provide high-quality 1:1 support where needed
- Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a structured learning environment
- Contribute to the overall teaching and learning within the classroom
