Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – WN2 (Hindley area of Wigan)
Contract: Temporary – full-time or part-time
Start Date: September 2025
A welcoming primary school in Hindley is seeking a skilled HLTA to join their team this September. You will work across KS1 and KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence, leading small-group or 1:1 interventions, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Requirements
- HLTA status or Level 4 equivalent qualification.
- Experience across KS1 and KS2 in a primary setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain).
- Good understanding of safeguarding procedures.
