Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Warrington Role: Full-time (part-time considered) We are working closely with a primary school in Warrington who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
The role will include: Delivering planned learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
Assisting with planning, preparation and assessment of learning.
Providing targeted intervention support to pupils, including those with SEND.
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils social and emotional development.
Working collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders.
The successful candidate will: Hold HLTA status or have significant experience working at HLTA level.
Have strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
Be confident leading lessons and managing a classroom.
Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
Be enthusiastic, proactive and committed to high standards.
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS certificate.
