HLTA Opportunity – Cardiff (CF11) – 3 to 5 Days a Week

We are working with a fantastic, welcoming primary school in the CF11 area of Cardiff who are looking for a confident, passionate, and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September.

This is a flexible role offering 3 to 5 days a week depending on your availability, with long-term opportunities and the potential for a permanent contract for the right person.

  • Leading whole class sessions across the school when needed, with planning provided.

  • Supporting teaching staff with small group interventions and targeted support.

  • Working closely with pupils across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.

  • Assisting with planning, preparation, and assessment under the guidance of class teachers.

  • A valued role within a friendly, forward-thinking team who are committed to pupil progress and wellbeing.

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience leading whole class sessions.

  • Confident managing a classroom environment and delivering engaging sessions.
