Teaching Personnel is looking for a motivated and supportive Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in the High Wycombe area. This role is ideal for someone with classroom experience who is eager to develop their skills further and support pupils in their academic and personal development.
Working under the guidance of class teachers and senior staff, you will help deliver high-quality support to pupils both in groups and on a 1:1 basis. This school is known for its warm environment and commitment to staff development.
- Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Provide small-group support and targeted interventions
- Work with individual pupils who require additional support
- Support behaviour management and the creation of a positive learning environment
- Help with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous school-based experience (primary or secondary)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel)
