A supportive mainstream nursery in Hertfordshire (EN11) is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Nursery Support Assistant to work closely with a child requiring additional support, helping them to access learning and daily routines.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a nursery-aged child
  • Support communication, social skills and emotional development
  • Implement tailored learning and care plans
  • Work closely with the class team and SENCO
  • Encourage independence through structured support

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
  • Experience working in early years or SEN support
  • Previous 1:1 or intervention experience desirable
  • Calm, patient and consistent approach
