We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality early years education and ensuring every child receives the best possible start to their learning journey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. You will deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences that support children’s development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position; permanent may be available later.

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
- Has a strong understanding of early phonics and language acquisition.
- Is committed to ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and pupil progress.
- Can effectively support children with a range of needs and abilities.
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Is enthusiastic, reflective and committed to continuous professional development.
