Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS3–KS4.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to stretch and challenge learners of all abilities.
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour and classroom management.
  • Participate in department meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives.
  • Support students’ academic and personal growth.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ESSENTIAL.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science (any specialism considered).
