About the Role: Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint an outstanding, motivated, and compassionate Headteacher to lead a secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Alternative Provision in the Liverpool area. This provision supports a maximum of 45 students, offering a highly personalised and nurturing educational experience for young people who require additional support outside of mainstream settings. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced senior leader or an ambitious individual ready to step into Headship to make a significant and lasting impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving forward the strategic vision of the provision, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, inspirational leadership and direction for the provision
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan focused on improving outcomes for students with SEMH needs
  • Lead on school improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous evaluation
