Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the school.
- Lead, motivate, and develop teaching and support staff.
- Drive excellence in teaching, learning, and curriculum design.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe school culture where all pupils can succeed.
- Oversee the provision for pupils with SEN and additional needs.
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, Ofsted standards, and statutory guidance.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, external agencies, and the wider community.
- Monitor school performance and implement effective school improvement strategies.
- Manage budgets and resources in line with organisational and educational priorities.
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant subject area.
- QTS or QTLS (or an equivalent recognised overseas qualification).
- Substantial leadership experience in a school (e.g., Deputy Head, Assistant Head, Headteacher, or similar strategic role).
- Proven track record of improving teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and SEN best practice.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and people-management skills.
