This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity for compassionate and resilient educators who are passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs. You will play a vital role in helping primary-aged boys access education, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role

As a Child Supervisor, you will provide consistent 1:1 support to primary-aged boys with learning difficulties throughout the school day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual support within the classroom to encourage learning and engagement.
  • Supporting pupils as they transition between lessons and around the school site.
  • Assisting during educational visits and school trips, ensuring pupils remain safe, engaged, and included.
  • Building positive relationships that promote confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored support strategies.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop essential social and communication skills.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Are patient, empathetic, and committed to making a positive difference.
  • Are confident working on a 1:1 basis with primary-aged pupils.
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS.
  • Can commit to a full-time role, Monday to Friday.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the school's location.

What We Offer

  • Competitive weekly pay of £360 - £460.
  • Opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary placement.
  • Ongoing support from your dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant.
  • Access to professional development and training opportunities.
  • The chance to make a lasting impact in the lives of children with additional needs.

If you're a caring and motivated individual looking to build a rewarding career within SEND education, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and take the next step with Teaching Personnel in supporting young learners to thrive.
