Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students in a specialist school in the Havant area. This is a term-time only role, working school hours Monday to Friday, ideal for those needing a work-life balance without compromising on job satisfaction.

About the Role:

  • Supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, often on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Helping manage challenging behaviours using trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation strategies.
  • Assisting with classroom learning, emotional regulation, and routine-based activities.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
