Are you a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child’s school journey? We are working with a number of supportive primary schools across the Romsey area that are seeking compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). These schools are known for their nurturing environments, inclusive values and strong pastoral support for both pupils and staff.

This is a rewarding full-time opportunity where your consistent support and encouragement will help pupils build confidence, develop independence and thrive both socially and academically.

About the Role
  • Pay rate: £14.25 per hour
  • Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (term time only)
  • Contract type: Full-time
  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
  • Supporting small intervention groups and classroom learning
  • Helping to create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
  • At least two years of employment history
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
  • A Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
