SEN Teachers & Learning Support Assistants

Learning Support Assistants: £14.25 per hour

About the Roles:

Teaching Personnel are working with SEND schools in the Portsmouth area to recruit qualified Teachers and Learning Support Assistants. We have multiple roles available, with immediate starts for candidates ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Teachers: Deliver engaging, SEND-focused lessons tailored to pupil needs
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
  • Work closely with LSAs and the wider school team to support children’s learning and development
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Learning Support Assistants (LSAs): Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom
  • Support children with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs
  • Help create a nurturing and inclusive environment

  • Qualified teachers (QTS or equivalent)
