Teaching Personnel is recruiting a teaching assistant for a welcoming primary school in Great Eccleston. The role will begin in September 2026 and will support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support pupil progress.
- Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and a nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children, preferably within KS2.
- Patient, proactive and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
- Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Holds a relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent – desirable but not essential).
