This 12-month, full-time position allows you to gain invaluable classroom experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, preparing you for a successful transition into teacher training. What is the Graduate Teacher Internship Programme? This initiative, part of our Future Teachers Programme, aims to address teacher shortages by supporting bright, motivated graduates who are interested in teaching but want to experience school life before committing to teacher training. What’s Involved? Starting in September 2025, successful applicants will be placed in a Stockport-based secondary school where you’ll work full-time supporting pupils and staff in your subject area.
