About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join our supportive education setting in Blackburn from September. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to gain paid, hands-on experience in mental health and education before progressing into further study in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related fields.

You will work closely with pupils requiring additional emotional, behavioural, and mental health support, playing a key role in helping them engage positively with learning and school life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Support students in developing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and resilience
  • Assist in implementing individual support plans and behaviour strategies
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their wellbeing and progress
