Looking to build a career in education after university?
Teaching Personnel is looking for ambitious graduates who are considering a future in teaching and want to gain valuable school-based experience before committing to formal teacher training.
Our Future Teachers Programme is designed to help graduates develop the skills, confidence and classroom experience needed to take the next step towards a rewarding career in education.
Whether you're already planning to complete a PGCE or simply want to explore teaching as a career, this is an excellent opportunity to learn what life in the classroom is really like.
The Role
We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Bournemouth seeking a Cover Supervisor to join their team.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll oversee classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and complete work that has already been set. You'll play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment while gaining first-hand experience of secondary education.
This is a fantastic stepping stone into teaching, allowing you to develop classroom management skills and build confidence without the responsibilities of lesson planning or marking.

- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
- Supporting students in completing pre-prepared work
- Building professional relationships with teaching staff and pupils
- Gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of teachers and school staff

- Ideal opportunity for recent graduates
- Gain essential classroom experience before teacher training
- Learn from experienced education professionals
