As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting students to develop their knowledge, confidence and critical-thinking skills.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting extracurricular opportunities where appropriate.
We are looking for a Humanities Teacher who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
- Has strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities subjects.
- Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
- Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting students.
- Works effectively as part of a wider school team.
