Geography Teacher
Location – Trafford
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a close client who are requiring an adaptable and dynamic Geography Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Secondary School with welcoming and supportive staff. The school is located in Trafford and is close to various public transport links and there will also be access to staff car parks if you can drive. This is a full‑time position.
The pay for this role is between £150‑£200 per day dependent on experience!
Key responsibilities
- Prepare students for GCSE Geography exams by providing high quality teaching and confidence delivering lessons.
- Lecture with different colleagues and staff members to ensure productive learning strategies are being prioritised.
- Offer targeted interventions for students who may be struggling/under achieving.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for both KS3 and KS4 students.
Role requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Previous secondary school teaching experience
- Passionate about teaching to encourage and inspire students’ academic abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure classroom management
