The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience and school needs.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Is willing to complete additional CPDs.
- Is patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting children's learning.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is adaptable and able to work collaboratively with staff and pupils.
