We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH provision and PRU for a dedicated and resilient General Studies Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about supporting young people with additional behavioural, emotional, and social needs.

The successful candidate will have experience working with middle school-aged pupils and will be confident delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across a general studies curriculum in a nurturing and structured environment.

Responsibilities
  • Full‑time teaching position

  • Delivering General Studies to KS2/KS3 pupils
  • Working within an SEMH and PRU setting
  • Supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Managing behaviour effectively and building strong relationships with pupils
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
  • Previous experience teaching middle school or KS2/KS3 students
  • Experience within SEMH, PRU, alternative provision or SEND settings
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A patient, adaptable and resilient approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive and specialist educational setting. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
