Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs) and SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work within a range of welcoming primary schools across Blackpool, Fleetwood, Thornton-Cleveleys, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lytham St Annes, and surrounding areas.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to build your career in education, we have a variety of opportunities available to suit your experience and availability.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
  • Helping children achieve their academic, social and emotional goals
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom
  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • We Are Looking For
  • Previous experience working with children, young people or vunerable adults
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential
  • A patient, caring and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
