A well-regarded secondary school in Wakefield is looking for a Cover Supervisor to manage classrooms and provide support in the absence of the class teacher. Key Responsibilities:- Classroom Management: Supervise pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students stay engaged and focused.
- Lesson Delivery: Follow lesson plans, providing instructions and guidance where necessary, ensuring that learning objectives are met.
- Behavioural Support: Maintain a positive learning environment by effectively managing student behaviour using established classroom management techniques.
- Assessment: Monitor and assist students’ progress during the lesson, ensuring that all students are working to the best of their ability.
