We work with young people who are unable to access mainstream schools, for a variety of reasons. Such as:
- SEN and SEMH needs
- Challenging behaviour
- School refuser
- School based anxiety
- Medical reasons
We are looking for experienced educators, Fully Qualified Teachers, HLTA’s and SEN specialists, to work with GCSE learners on a 1:1 basis in their homes, local libraries or school at Little Thurrock (and surrounding areas).
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and creating your own resources and session plans, tailored towards each learner’s needs and interests
- Assessing the learners current learning levels
- Teaching the learner, English and Maths, on a 1:1 basis and bridging gaps in their learning
- Build a rapport with students to help them engage with tuition
- Writing detailed reports for every session so we can monitor attendance, engagement and progress
