Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils and staff in schools across Gateshead. The Role
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Providing targeted support to pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Working collaboratively with teachers to enhance pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a relevant degree or equivalent (a degree in Education is desirable but not essential)
- Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not required)
- Hold a DBS check or are willing to apply for one
- Are reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, classroom management, and student behaviour
