Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic English Graduate Teaching Assistant to work across schools in Gateshead. This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Teaching, Educational Psychology, or further study in Education.

About the Role

  • Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support their learning
  • Build positive, trusting relationships to promote engagement, confidence and wellbeing
  • Support students with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored support and interventions
  • Monitor student progress and communicate any concerns effectively with teaching staff
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
