TP Tutors have an amazing opportunity to work with Local Authorities and Schools across the South Tyneside area. We are seeking confident tutors to provide functional maths and English skills to children who are currently not able to access mainstream education. This role may included working outside a mainstream setting. The Role: Planning and delivering subject focused sessions. Providing constructive feedback and using this to plan next steps to enhance children’s learning. Being aware of the child’s needs and interests, using this to engage the children and take a child-centred approach to learning. Apply different behavioural strategies to engage the pupils in the session. Tutor Requirements: Professional teaching qualifications are preferred. Experience of working with children with SEND/SEMH needs. 2 professional references that cover a 24 month of employment from a 10 year career history.
