TP Tutors are working alongside Local Authorities and Virtual Schools to provide support to students in Functional Skills Maths or English. Majority of the students that we support have varying challenges, including behavioural challenges, SEN and looked after children. Our goal is to help provide out students with the skills required to succeed later in life.

About The Role

  • 1:1 tuition – this may be in a school, local venue or in the student’s home
  • Flexible hours
  • Plan and deliver your own engaging, tailored sessions
  • Functional skills and emotional support

Who Are We Looking For

  • Tutors experienced working with students who require emotional support
  • Tutors confident communicating with local authorities and care home staff
  • Ability to plan, produce and deliver sessions in Functional Skills English or Maths

Requirements

  • Teaching with QTS or tutoring/TA experience (Non QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Valid DBS on the update service (able to apply through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
