Teaching Personnel are recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools across York. The Role
- Support pupils’ learning and engagement across the school day, working one-to-one and in small groups, and assisting teachers in creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom routines
- Support pupils to stay focused and engaged
- Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes
- Build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents/carers
Experience & Skills
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
