Job Title: Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools Location: Burnley Salary: £13.75 – £15 per hour (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only About the Role: Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and support primary schools in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions, and help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils’ learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Assisting the class teacher with classroom management and preparation of learning materials. Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions to help children reach their full potential. Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment. Encouraging pupil engagement, independence and confidence. Requirements: Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (desirable). A patient, nurturing and proactive approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development.
