Job Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Wigan (WN3)

Contract: Temporary – Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

Start Date: Immediate

An excellent primary school in the Wigan area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 TA to join their team from September. This rewarding role involves providing classroom support and delivering small-group interventions to help pupils reach their full potential.

The school is easily accessible from the M6 and surrounding areas, with strong public transport links and free on-site parking.

Requirements

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Experience supporting children within a primary school setting.
  • Ability to assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparation and classroom management.
  • A positive and flexible approach, with a genuine passion for education.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
