Teaching Personnel is proud to be working exclusively in partnership with a specialist School in the Neath area to recruit a Full‐Time ALN Teaching Assistant for the 2026–2027 academic year.
This is a rewarding, long‐term opportunity supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a nurturing, structured, and highly specialist environment. Due to the complexity of learner needs, shortlisted applicants must be able to commit to full‐time hours for the full academic year.

The Role
As a Full‐Time ALN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Assist with behaviour regulation and emotional support
Use positive handling strategies xgikmsk where required
Support learning across the curriculum
Work closely with teachers and support staff
Help pupils develop independence, confidence & communication
Be a consistent, trusted adult for learners who need stability
