The Role

You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students ranging in the ages 6-19 years old, with the school catering for students with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated complex needs including severe anxiety, sensory processing difficulties, attachment issues, and pathological demand avoidance (PDA). The school’s mission is to provide a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment where pupils can rebuild confidence, rediscover a love of learning, and develop strategies to reach their full academic, social, and emotional potential. The approach is highly personalised, focusing on removing barriers to learning and promoting independence and life skills alongside academic achievement.
