Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Frome, starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner to support pupils through the important transition from Reception into Year 1, while also playing a key role in welcoming and settling the new EYFS cohort.

Responsibilities

  • Have previous experience teaching within EYFS
  • Be confident supporting the transition between Reception and Year 1
  • Create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment
  • Be proactive, adaptable and committed to high-quality early years education
  • Be prepared to support the onboarding and settling-in of the new Reception cohort

  • £125 - £150 per day, depending on experience
  • Full-time position available, with part-time considered for the right candidate
  • Initial contract for the first term, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate
  • No planning responsibilities required at this stage

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Previous EYFS teaching experience
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is desirable
