We are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Stockton‑on‑Tees on a flexible supply basis. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build classroom experience, maintain flexibility, or further their career in education.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and complete pre‑set work in a structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising students across a range of subjects

- Delivering pre‑prepared lesson materials
- Encouraging student engagement and participation
- Providing basic learning support where required

Requirements
- Previous experience working in UK secondary schools is essential
- Background as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, or similar is desirable

- Professional, reliable, and punctual approach
- Good understanding of the UK education system
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
