Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Farnworth area. The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference within a nurturing Key Stage 2 environment.

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that support both the academic and personal development of your pupils. You will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
  • Provide targeted support to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, including SEN staff and subject leads
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to differentiate effectively to support all learners
