Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in Bolton who require a learning support assistant to work across KS3 and KS4 classes. This is a full-time position where you will work closely with students identified as having a need for additional support in school.
About the job role:
- Provide additional support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Ensure that all students are engaged and participate in classroom lessons.
- Assisting the classroom teacher to plan and deliver learning activities, prepare learning materials.
- Work closely with SENCO to create short-term and long-term learning plans.
- Build positive working relationships with students aged 11-16.
It is desirable that you have previous experience working within an education setting or working closely with students aged 11-16. This is a fantastic opportunity to build classroom experience if you are looking into a career in teaching.
