Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working in partnership with a warm, welcoming primary school in the Bolton (BL4) area that is seeking a dedicated EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and committed individual who is passionate about supporting children's development during these important formative years.

About the Role

As an EYFS TA, you will play a key role in supporting children within the Early Years setting, helping to create a stimulating, engaging, and safe learning environment. Working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team, you will support children's learning through play, encourage their social and emotional development, and help them build the foundations for future success. The successful candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
  • Assist in maintaining a high-quality EYFS environment
  • Promote children's learning and development through play-based experiences
  • Support children's personal, social, emotional, and communication development
  • Work effectively with the class teacher and Early Years practitioners
  • Observe, monitor, and contribute to children's developmental progress
  • Create positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare
  • Valid Paediatric First Aid Training (essential)
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
  • A caring, patient, and positive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
