We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join the team, working in our lovely nurseries in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality childcare and early education in a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

About the Role

  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, adhering to room ratios and policies
  • Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, ensuring detailed, quality record keeping
  • Work as part of a positive and professional nursery team, providing an active involvement in staff meetings
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are always maintained, completing risk assessments, hazard logs and documentation as required
  • Oversee the settling in of new children, liaising closely with caregivers and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth transition

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification - this is essential
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Previous nursery or childcare experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification desirable but not essential
  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
