We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Student Progress, Attendance, and Behaviour Lead to join a dedicated pastoral and inclusion team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive educational outcomes. The successful candidate will take a leading role in promoting excellent attendance, supporting positive behaviour and helping pupils remain engaged in school life. Working collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies, you will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and aspirational learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Attendance and Engagement
    • Monitor, track and improve pupil attendance and punctuality
    • Identify patterns and barriers affecting attendance and engagement
    • Develop targeted intervention plans and support strategies
    • Work closely with pupils and families to encourage sustained improvement
    • Maintain accurate records and reporting processes
  • Behaviour and Pastoral Support
    • Promote high standards of behaviour and positive learning habits
    • Support students experiencing behavioural, emotional or engagement challenges
    • Coordinate interventions to improve participation and wellbeing
    • Provide restorative and solution-focused support approaches
    • Contribute to creating a calm and purposeful school environment
  • Progress and Inclusion
    • Support pupils to achieve their academic and personal goals
    • Monitor student progress and identify opportunities for early intervention
    • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams
    • Liaise with external professionals and agencies where appropriate
    • Contribute to whole-school strategies that improve outcomes

About You
