The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching to students aged 11–16 during periods of staff absence, ensuring learning continues smoothly and effectively. You will be expected to confidently lead the classroom, deliver pre-planned lessons, adapt teaching where appropriate, and manage behaviour in line with school policies. You may also be required to provide additional support to students with special educational needs, ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Fully qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification)
  • Experience teaching secondary-aged students (11–16)
  • Confident, flexible, and professional classroom presence
