We are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join a dedicated Primary School based in Farnborough to work on a full time, temporary basis with the view to go permanent for the right individual. You will be supporting KS1 and KS2 students with additional needs so experience in SEN is essential for this role. The school would also be interested in LSA’s with Team Teach experience/qualification.

Requirements:

  • An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • Recent successful experience as an LSA within a primary setting or working with SEN children.
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) grade C or above.
  • A clear understanding of assessment for learning in order to feedback and respond effectively to pupil learning.
  • A positive attitude and be flexible to the demands of the role and the needs of the school.
  • The ability to plan and evaluate pupils' progress.
  • Acute self-awareness, emotional intelligence and the ability to work well under pressure.
